Ken Whiteley is an iconic Canadian roots music performer who is known for his versatility. He is sought after as a songwriter, performer, producer and side musician. He is adept in folk, blues, gospel, country, jazz and children’s music. We sat down and shared a few stories and passed around my Ron Belanger crafted guitar at the Mariposa Folk Festival. Ken also shared about his good friend, Jackie Washington who had passed on just a week earlier.
